OBITUARY: 
Marion H. Remington, 69, dropped dead last Thursday while hauling wood on his farm a short distance north of Dallas. His death occurred on the farm where he was born February 26, 1874, the son of early pioneers of Polk county. 
Mr. Remington is survived by four sisters: Mrs. Lucy Campbell and Mrs. Sarah Price, both of Dallas; Mrs. G.F. Brown of Willamina, and Mrs. Carl Sellers of Salem. 
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Henkle & Bollman chapel with W. Clyde Rhea, pastor of the Christian church, officiating. Interment was in the Brown cemetery near Dallas.
