OBITUARY: 

Joseph S. Working, 63, of 1530 Shadey Lane NE, died Saturday at Salem Hospital Memorial Unit. He was born in Silverton and was a Salem area resident for most of his life. He was a retired general laborer. Survivors include sisters, Evelyn Wright, Albany, and Alameda Randall, Springfield. Graveside services will be 2 pm Wednesday at Zena Cemetery in Spring Valley northwest of Salem. The family suggests contributions to Salem Hospital Foundation for Heart Research.
