Alice E. McKinlay, 77, of Orange, a retired registered nurse, died Monday of Alzheimer's disease. No services. Arrangements by Fairhaven Memorial Park & Mortuary, Santa Ana.
Survivors: husband, George; daughters, Susan McKinlay, Julia Dement; son, George Jr.; sister, Ann Jones; six grandchildren.

Orange, Calif – Alice McKinlay, 77, died Sept 9 in Garden Grove, Calif. Born in Bronx, New York, she graduated from Kings County Hospital with a degree in nursing. She lived in Salem in the 1950s, working as a registered nurse for Salem Hospital, Oregon State Hospital, and Deaconess Hospital, retiring in 1976. She later moved to California. Survivors include her husband, George, whom she married in 1953; son, George Jr of Orange; daughters, Susan McKinlay of Tacoma, Wash, and Julia Dement of Leavenworth, Wash; sister, Ann Jones of Sacramento, Calif; and six grandchildren. Services will be 11 am today at Spring Valley Cemetery, Zena area. Arrangements are by Bollman Funeral Home, Dallas.
