George L. Hammond

George L. Hammond, 80, of Salem died Friday.
He was born in Missoula, Mont., and was raised in Montana, coming to Salem in 1945. He was a sheep rancher near Zena for many years. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of Salem Eagles Lodge.
He is survived by his brother, Walter of Salem.
Graveside services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Zena Cemetery. Arrangements are by Barrick Mortuary.
