OBITUARY:
Delores Mercedes Carlson, May 4, 1922-Aug 12, 2000
Delores (McKinstry) Carlson, 78, died Saturday of heart failure. She was born in Lincoln, Neb, and attended business school for a year. She married Carl in 1942 and moved to Salem in 1955. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed working at the Portland temple, and collecting antiques and curios. Her husband is deceased. Survivors include her daughters, Priscilla Buran of Scottsdale, Ariz, and Camille Fowler of Salem; son, Sidney of Salem; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be private, and itnerment will be at Zena Pioneer Cemetery. Contributions: missionary fund and humanitatian services of the church.
