1900 OR CENSUS - Mary White, age 44, mother of 4 children, b. Oct 1855 in Oregon, is enumerated with her husband of 26 years, Millard, age 46, occupation farmer, b. Nov 1853 in Missouri, along with Homar [Homer], age 21, b. May 1879 in Oregon, and Myrtle, age 12, b. Dec 1887 in Oregon.

OBITUARY: 

Mrs Mary H. White, wife of Millard F. White, of Rickreall, died Wednesday night after a brief illness, her death being due to a complication of pneumonia and heart trouble. Her husband was in Enterprise, Eastern Oregon, but a message was sent at once summoning him back to his home and he arrived at Rickreall last night. The time for the funeral has not yet been determined upon. 
Mrs. White was a daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Myer and was born on the old home place near Rickreall in 1855. In 1873, at the age of 18 years, she was married to M.F. White. The young couple settled near Rickreall, where they resided up to the present time. Mrs. White is survived by her husband and four children – Henry and Myrtle who reside on the home place, Mrs. Gussie Patton of Salem, and Homer White of Walla Walla. 
Mrs. White was well known in Polk county, and her death is a source of deep and heartfelt regret to her many friends.

Mrs. Mary A. White, wife of M.F. White, died at the family home, three miles north of Rickreall, Feb 19, 1908, of lagrippe and heart failure at the age of 52 years, 4 months and 17 days. Mary A. White was the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Myer, pioneers of 1847. She was born near Dallas October 2, 1855, and was married to M.F. White, of Crowley, Oregon, October 19, 1873. To this union were born five children, Henry, who resides on the home farm, Homer L. of Washtuckna, Wash, Mrs. Gussie M. Patton of Salem, Myrtle and a child which died in infancy. 
Mrs. White has been since 1873 a devoted Christian and has lived the life of a true Christian by her true devotion to her family and neighbors. She leaves to mourn her loss, besides a husand and children, four brothers and two sisters, Hon Geo. F. Myer, F.E. Myer, J.W. Myer, and Mrs. A.J. Hastings, of Dallas; A.E. Myer of Falls City, and Mrs. S.T. Riggs, of Salem, also a host of friends.
