Died. Shepard – Mrs James R. Shepard at Goldendale, Wash, wife of James R. Shepard and mother of Walter J. Shepard of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs John H. Lewis of Portland, Raymond Shepard of Chicago, Ralph C. Shepard of Zena, Robert Shepard of Haines, Alaska, Mrs King Garlington of Missoula, Mont, Fred Shepard near Bend and Miss Ruth Shepard of Kalispell, Mont. Cars will leave Rigdon’s at ten o’clock Monday for Zena. Funeral at 11 am, Zena.

Funeral services for Mrs Josephine A. Shepard, 69, wife of James R. Shepard, who died at the family home in Goldendale, Wash, Thursday, Nov 9, were held this morning at Zena, Polk county, at 11 o’clock with Rigdon and Son funeral directors in charge. Until about three years ago Mr and Mrs Shepard lived near Zena.
