OBITUARY: 

Phillip J. Schultz, 68, of 2997 Michigan City Lane NW, died Saturday in a Portland hospital. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, he had lived in Salem for 56 years. He was a retired employee of Oregon State Hospital, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Salem Elks. Survivors include his sister, Betty A. Rivett, Salem. Services will be at 11 am Wednesday in Barrick mortuary, and private interment in Zena Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Oregon Heart Association, 1500 SW 12th Ave, Portland, Ore 97201.
