OBITUARY: 

Marie Crawford Randle
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Calvary Baptist Church for Marie Crawford Randle, 92, of 880 Spears Ave., SE, who died Sunday.
Interment will be in Zena Cemetery.
The casket will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Barrick mortuary.
Born in Albany, she graduated from Shurtleff College, Ill., in 1917. She and her husband served as missionaries in Western China from 1920 to 1927. She moved here in 1943 from Pacific Grove, Calif., and was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church. In 1978 she received her 50-year pin from Chadwick Chapter, Eastern Star. She was a past president of the Spring Valley Missionary Society and of Salem United Church Women, and was named that organization’s 1980 “Valiant Lady.”Surviving are her daughters, Helen Randle, Salem, and Lois Parks, Tomales, Calif.; and son, Jack C., Beaverton.
Contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Memorial Fund or the Spring Valley Missionary Society.
