Jay J. Hauck. Late resident of 2519 Wallace Rd NW, Salem, Wed, April 2 in a Salem hospital. Survived by widow, Bertha R. Hauck, Salem; daughter, Mrs Mariam Gitchoff, San Diego, Calif; son, Peter Derrer, Portland; sisters, Mrs Irene Theuer, Helena, Mont, Mrs Lorene Freenor, Los Angeles, Mrs Lillian Pitts, Tenn, Mrs Deloris Zinnell, Minn; brothers, Theo Hauck, Spokane, Arthur A. Hauck, Missoula, Mont, Paul Hauck, Salem, Walter Hauck, Missoula, Clinton Hauck, Fresno, Elton Hauck, Worchester, Mass. Five grandchildren also survive. Services will be in the Virgil T. Golden Chapel, 605 Com’l SE at Oak, Fri, April 4 at 1:30 pm. Vault interment, Spring Valley Cemetery, Zena. Chaplain Olive Secor officiating. Ritualistic services by DAV Salem Chapter No 6. Casket will remain open in the Golden Chapel until 1:00 pm Friday.
