OBITUARY: 

Mrs Rosa Hall, Salem route 1, died Wednesday after an illness of nearly three years. She was 79. Born in Tennessee in 1870, Mrs Hall moved to Greenville, Mo, when she was 8 years old and lived in a farm there until three years ago when she came to Salem. She was married in 1894 to J.M. Hall in Greenville. Surviving are the widower, J.M. Hall, Salem; two daughters, Mrs Walter Rowan, Salem, and Mrs Lucile Ross, Nashville, Tenn; a son, H.M. Hall, Oregon City; two sisters, Mrs S.M. Quick, Greenville, Mo, and Mrs Ellen Dalton, Golden City, Mo; a brother, Worley England,. Kansas City, Mo; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 pm at the Zena church with interment in Zena cemetery under direction of the W.T. Rigdon chapel.
