OBITUARY: 

Ruth Agnes Callicrate, wife of Dr D.L. Callicrate, clinical director at Fairview Hospital and Training Center, died unexpected at her home Tuesday. She was 49. A neighbor found Mrs Callicrate lying on the floor of the Callicrate residence, 415 Lincoln St S, about 11:30 am and notified Dr Callicrate. Death was natural but the cause is still unknown, Dr Peter Batten, Marion County medical examiner, said after autopsy. Mrs Callicrate was born at Long Creek in Eastern Oregon and spent her early life there and in Pendleton. She came to Salem 20 years ago. She was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving are sons John, Paul, Richard, Phillip, James, David and Howard, and daughters Mary Ann, Margaret and Linda, all of Salem, brothers Eugene Flood of Portland and William Flood of Grant County and sister Mrs Ida Cael of Hawaii. Services are pending at Howell-Edwards mortuary.
