He belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served a mission in Spokane, Wash with his wife Helen. He loved serving the Lord and helping others. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed talking with the friends he had made. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bryan; sister, Gwen; and his wife, Betty Mickey Wilson.
