OBITUARY: 
John Linderman passed away at his home in Lewisville this morning at 8 am, his death being caused by general debility and heart complications. He will be laid to rest next Saturday at the Smith cemetery, under the auspices of the Evangelical church, of which he was a most consistent and respected member. John A. Linderman was born in Germany, October 17, 1825, making him 86 at time of demise. Came to Canada when quite a lad, and also lived for a time in some of the eastern states, coming to Oregon in 1870, settling on the homestead where he has since resided. His wife passed away some years ago, five children being the result of the union, four of these being left to mourn him – George, Frank, Augustus, of the Luckiamute, and Mrs Nina Coon of Hillsboro.
