OBITUARY: 
Deseased Resided for Nearly Forty Years on Farm Near Lewisville Coming Here in 1912.
Mrs. Mary Bronson died at ther home of her daughter, Mrs. H .C. Eakin in Dallas, Friday evening, Dec. 27, 1918, of neuritis, after an illness of one week. Mrs. Bronson was born at Knoxville, Illinois, Feb. 11, 1848. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. I. Dempsey, Oregon pioneers of 1862, who located for the first year at Monmouth, and the following year at Rickreall where she was married Jan. 28, 1870, to D. O. Bronson, who died in this city in January 1915. For nearly forty years Mr. and Mrs. Bronson lived on their farm near Lewisville, removing in 1912 to Dallas. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. I. N. Davidson of Toppenish, Washington, and five children, Mrs. Hort C. Eakin and Mrs. Joseph E. Sibley of Dallas, Wm. Bronson of Harrisburg, Charles D. Bronson of Monrovia, California and George H. Bronson of Lewisville. Mrs. Bronson has been a member of the M.E. Church South for many years.
