OBITUARY: 
William Yeater, 78, passed away at the Dallas hospital Tuesday morning. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday at the Henkle & Bollman chapel, and interment will be in the Smith cemetery near Lewisville. The deceased was born near Wells, Benton county, in 1857. When quite young he moved with his parents to a farm about 7 miles southwest of Dallas on the Little Luckiamute, and later moved to a farm nearby where he resided until his death. Surviving are one brother, John Yeater of Monmouth, a sister Mrs Kate Smith of Portland, four daughters: Mrs Wilma Harris of Hoquiam, Wn, Mrs Margaret Macomber of Alsea, Mrs Lillie Halvorson of Burlington, Wn, and Mrs Gertrude Bauerle of Carol, Iowa.
