OBITUARY: Marjorie Shearer, Sept. 7, 1934-July 12, 1996
Marjorie Lee Shearer of Dallas died July 12 in Dallas. She was 61. Born in Cortez, Colo, to Leon J. and Irene F. Marrs Pohl, she att4ended schools in Colorado and Vancouver, Wash. A homemaker, she enjoyed gardening and needlework. She attended the Presbyterian Church. She lived in Colorado and Washington before moving to Corvallis in 1991. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth of Fairbanks, Alaska, Michael of Louisiana and Gerald of New Mexico; daughters, Linda McCaslin of Montrose, Colo and Yvonne Roball of Colorado Springs, Colo; a sister, Margaret Livingston of Salem; nieces, Karey Swindle of Dallas and Karen Stevens of Salem; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were held July 15 in Smith Cemetery in Monmouth under the direction of Bollman Funeral Home.
