He was born on December 22, 1922 in Portland, Oregon the son of Albert and Pearl Applegate Ronco. He lived many years in Pedee. He farmed for a time and then went to work for the Pedee Lumber Company as a lumber carrier operator. He retired in 1972. He moved to Dallas several years ago. He enjoyed the outdoors and western music. He is survived by a brother Paul Ronco of Pedee and sister Olive Dasch of Salem along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Alberta and a brother Arthur. Viewing will be from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 5th in the Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm Friday, January 6th in the Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center. Private burial will be in the Montgomery Cemetery in Pedee.
