OBITUARY: 
Thomas J. Sullivan, 57, well known resident of Polk county, passed away Monday evening at the home of his brother, Ira Sullivan, near McTimmonds Valley. He had been in poor health for the past year. Mr Sullivan was born April 9, 1881, on the old McTimmonds DLC and had resided in this county all his life. He was engaged in farming, in partnership with his brother, Ira. He never married. He is survivied by two brothers, George of Woodland, Wn, Ira of McTimmonds Valley, three sisters, Mrs Jennie Orrahood of Castle Rock, Wn, Mrs Wilbur Rhoades, Pedee, and Mrs Charles Trueax, Bridgeport. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:00 pm from the Henkle & Bollman chapel in Dallas. Interment was made in the Montgomery cemetery.
