Airlie Logger Killed
Charles Powell, aged 55, of Airlie, was killed by a falling tree, near that place Tuesday. He was engaged in felling the tree and was struck by a branch when the tree came to earth. He is survived by a widow and several children. Coroner R. L. Chapman of this city was notified immediately after the accident but decided that an inquest was unnecessary. Funeral services were held Thursday over the remains, and burial took place in the Montgomery cemetery near Airlie.

Mr. Charles Powell, of Airlie, was killed recently in a lumber camp near there by a tree falling on him while he was working in the woods.
