OBITUARY: Margaret Roberta Gothard, Jan. 9, 1920-Oct. 9, 1997 Broadbent – Margaret R. Gothard, 77, died Thursday. Born in Airlie, she later lived in the Monmouth-Salem area for seven years. She was a cook on various restaurants in Myrtle Point, including Mom’s Drive In. She married Roscoe in Sept. 1981; he died in 1987. Survivors include her children, Janice Noah of Salem, Bette Gulseth of Myrtle Point, Pat Yeoman and Cindy Elderkin, both of Klamath Falls, Pam Hermann of Broadbent, Bob Smith of Sutherlin, and Dennis Smith of Elgin; sisters, Vera Bemrose, Beatrice Unrien, Lucille Rhodes, Alice Katewa, and Lela Hamar; brothers, Alvin and Raymond Nendel; 40 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
