MRS. SELLERS SUICIDES
Daughter of Dr. T.V. Embree Taker Her Life While Deranged.
Mrs. Allie Sellers, aged about 30 years and a native or Polk county, committed suicide at the home of her brothers near Burns, in Eastern Oregon. We clip the following from Tuesday’s Oregonian:
Mrs. Sellers, daughter of Dr. Embree, of Dallas committed suicide last night by shooting herself through the heart at the homestead of her brothers, Clyde and Van Embree, 14 miles south of Burns. She had been in poor health for some years and came here from Dallas two months ago with her mother in hope of benefitting her physical condition. She was very melancholy and made two attempts to poison herself. Last night she succeeded in securing possession of a revolver while the others were at supper and upon retiring for the night she laid down and placed the muzzle to her breast, pulling the trigger. She was 30 years old and leaves a husband and young son in Dallas.
