Jan 1861 in Oregon, and his wife of 16 years, Minnie E., age 36, mother of 2, b. Oregon, along with Francis, age 10, b. Jan 1890 in Oregon.  Also enumerated with the family is Pink C., age 29, identified as brother [of Henry], occupation shipping clerk, b. Sep 1870 in Oregon.

OBITUARY: 

H.R. Patterson, 85, of Corvallis died July 25 in a Corvallis nursing home. 
Born in Independence, Patterson graduated from the University of Oregon and moved to Corvallis in 1920. He was head of the forestry department at Oregon State University from 1923 to 1951 when he retired. Patterson was a member of Good Samaritan Episcopal church, the Elks Lodge and the Society of American Foresters. 
Survivors include several distant relatives. 
Services were July 29 in Good Samaritan Episcopal church in Corvallis with the Rev. Charles Neville officiating. Interment was in Embree cemetery near Dallas. McHenry Funeral home was in charge of arrangements. The family suggests contributions to Good Samaritan Episcopal church.
