Burial was Thursday, July 14, at the Embree family cemetery 3½ miles east of Dallas, following services that morning at the Good Samaritan Episcopal church in Corvallis. McHenry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and Father F. Neville officiated. Mrs. Patterson was born in Dallas April 19, 1890, first child of Mr. and Mrs. Hayter. She was familiarly known as Frankie during her girlhood in the community. She married Henry R. Patterson of Corvallis June 30, 1910, and they had spent the past 50 years there, where he has been connected with Oregon State college for many years. They had no children. Surviving are the husband of Corvallis and one brother, Charles Hayter of Corvallis. Mrs. Bertha Hayter of Dallas is an aunt.
