OBITUARY:
Julius Hannum, one of the old-time residents of Pedee, died at the Dallas hospital on Friday, July 21, at the age of 62 years, 10 months and 9 days, having been born at Pedee on September 12, 1858. He was a single man and is survived by three sisters and one brother. At the time of his death he was a retired farmer. Funeral services were held at Pedee on Sunday, July 23, Dr H. Chas. Dunsmore of Independence officiating. Interment was made in the Edwards cemetery near Pedee.
