OBITUARY:
Word was received on Monday [Apr 23] of the death in New Mexico of Mrs Nellie Hill Denlinger from consumption. About three weeks ago, Mrs Denlinger was taken to California in hopes that the dryer climate would be beneficial but she steadily declined until death came and carried her away. She leaves one little child, a disconsolate husband and many friends to mourn her loss. The remains will be brought here for interment. Adah Chapter No 34, Order of the Eastern Star, of which deceased was a member, will attend the funeral and give the impressive ceremonies of the order. Services will be held in the auditorium shortly after the arrival of the Portland train and the interment made in the Burch cemetery.
